How to Dry Yam with Kinkai Dehydrator
The drying of yam can be divided into three stages: heating stage, constant speed drying and dehumidification stage, and quick setting stage.
- heating stage: cut the slices of yam flat on the grill, push the grill. Start the heat pump dryer, start to send hot air to the box, gradually heat the temperature in the box to more than 50, heating 30 min~1.5 h, humidity increase, start dehumidification, the use of high temperature heat pump dryer can adjust the intelligent system in dehumidification to maintain a constant temperature state.
- dehumidification stage: in the stage of high humidity and low temperature, the temperature is less than 50, the range is 40~50, avoid the change of color of yam caused by high temperature and high humidity, observe the change of water vapor on the surface of yam, this period should be 3~3.5 hours. At the middle and wet temperature stage, the temperature is less than 60, the range is 50~60, this section is appropriate to change fresh air dehumidification, according to the amount of moisture to adjust the size of the new tuyere for wind dehumidification.
- setting stage: namely in the low humidity high temperature section, this section temperature 60~70, the early stage should not exceed 70, the later stage should not exceed 75. This period should be 5-7 hours, so that yam to achieve the best set temperature, to ensure high quality yam.
